Hi Guys!
So this is my blog!!
I’m a bit of a blogging novice but now I’ve got my new site up an running I’m going to be keeping you in touch with what I’m up to on the road, in the studio or wherever I might be. By the time you are reading this I’ve probably already flown out to East Timor to do a few shows to support our Aussie troops. I’m not sure I’ll be able to blog from there but you can catch what I’m doing while I’m away on the Vega breakfast show with Dicko.
When I get back I’ll be getting ready to hit the road with Wes Carr and looking forward to the release of my new album, seems there will be plenty to write about…..
Your new site if fantastic, cant wait to see the next show in Novmeber

Hi Mossy, I had a sneak listen to your Soul on West 53rd St.
WOW a new direction for you! From what I have heard so far it seems to be a very interesting change for you. I admit I had to listen to Shake and Lets stay together a couple of times to get into it as I am still used to the Mossy who sang Healing Heads and Georgia etc. The 3rd time I played it I thought Yeah this is pretty b….y GOOD. So I now am faced with having to wait for your live touring performances. Influences from the masters of soul, BB King Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin ( the greats), yeah a worthy choice and a fitting album title.
Good on you for branching out and also linking up with Wes Carr. I had watched and voted for Wes many times and it is great that two kindred carismatic spirits unite. Shake only emphasises you voice can endure any song and any range. Good for you… Regards Nicola (poontang)
Ohhhhhhh and by the way, a refreshing web site! CHEERS. Nicola (poontang).
Love the new site Ian! Looking forward to the Gov show’s and the new CD!!! Cheers Balina
hey! is there seriously no Canberra show on this tour?! we saw you last year, and everytime i here you on the radio i look forward to seeing you again, so i’m a bit bummed to see you’re not coming.. maybe next year?
Hi Mossy,
Just watching the cricket and listening to Six Strings with a few mates… feels like Australia day.
Ian
I too was concerned that there is no Canberra/Quenbeyan show listed!
Peppa
Hi Ian,
loved you jimmy and phil at the mic cocks concert a bit like the old days.
cheers
deb
Hi Mossy! Good to see you back on deck. Look forward to the show at Belmont!
Hi Ian
I saw you at the Chelsea RSL on Wednesday night and want you to know that was THE MOST beautiful rendition of Cry me a River I have ever heard. Looking forward to seeing you and Wes when you’re in Melbourne in October.
Hey Ian… another punter disappointed in the lack of a Canberra show… The one you did at the Canberra Theatre last year was brilliant (Let’s Get Together tour). In fact both the concerts you did in Canberra were fantastic… please don’t make us miss out
No Canberra, l’ll cry me a river..
Great news, Canberra date now added – Tuggeranong 29 November.
love your work Mossy
thanks very much
thanks for adding a stop in canberra! see you then!!
Oh (cry of dismay)
Had a great time a while back when you played at The Events Centre, Caloundra, although it was such great music I struggled to sit still. I’ve been holding out to see a rumoured Ian Moss gig at Joe’s Waterhole, Eumundi, but the upcoming Sunshine Coast show seems to be Caloundra RSL instead. Why another souless monster instead of the delightful Joe’s? Come to Joe’s. You’d surely have a great time. We always do.
PLEASE?
Am so relieved for Canberra. Isn’t this site awesome. We better all start learnin how to do the “shake”. A few old backbone’s might benefit. Can’t wait for the Gold Coast show.
Dear Ian
As a veteran of many of your shows and having met you personally on occasion, words could not describe the excitement at discovering you will be playing at the Mansfield Tavern in December, a venue very close to where I live. So without further adue let me offer my humble abode and hospitality…it would be very much my pleasure! LOL
Touring the US? We’re putting a request in now……

Great site Mossy!Good stuff
Hi Ian, I am singing “PLAZA” at a friends 40th ( very excited) and am hoping you may confirm if the the guitar is in A minor, D, D minor, then C.
Such a beautful tune with the perfect touch of guitar. I listen to ALL your guitar solos and I can’t choose which one I like more, they All set the mood and personality of the song SO beautifully.
My son has just sung Bow River at his school. He is in 3rd grade and just lovvvves your music. A new generation of Mossy fans. You can be sure I am working hard educating them with only the very best musician we have.
Sending you my very best wishes and looking forward to your exciting and intriquing album release. With your exquisite voice complimenting the the blues, you know for me and every other lucky fan it, it sure as hell does not get any better!
PS. VERY pleased you are playing at the Davistown RSL.
Reagards Nicola

Very much looking forward to your show with Wes and was even more excited when a friend of ours brought home from work (ABC) a signed copy of the new cd before i even had a chance to buy it!
