Am I a pedant to ask if the Sam Cooke version is the original version? I love anything by Otis Redding of course!

And Ian, now you sing it, I can’t decide… Yours is SO great. Now I can’t POSSIBLY ever record it myself (Honestly a joke!!).

As for covering the Supreme Al Green: You’d be my first choice for any of his songs.

I hope to make your November 20 show and am rounding up as many friends as I can to go. My drummer husband is probs going to be a no show, but I’m working on my guitar loving brother in law and some of the parents from the Preschool where I work.

Got to go as I’ve got (house) work to do!
