“Shake/Let’s Stay Together” Hits Radio

While the finishing touches are still being added to Ian’s upcoming album, Soul on West 53rd, the wait is over to get a sample of what’s in store.

The first single from the album is a double A side featuring a rocking version of Shake (originally by Otis Redding) and Ian’s take on Let’s Stay Together (originally by Al Green) a track some might remember fromthe Pulp Fiction soundtrack.

While the feature of the new album is Ian’s voice, he couldn’t let his guitar work take a back seat “There’s still a few nice moments on the guitar from me,” he adds, pointing to his raucous workout on a vintage Gretsch to close out Shake.

Shake/Let’s Stay Together is at radio and available on iTunes now.

Ian Shakes It Up with Wes Carr
